Add tomatoes to your low cholesterol diet to help increase your good cholesterol

A study has shown that 300g daily of tomatoes can increase your good cholesterol levels by approximately 15%.
Scientists have also shown that the component of tomatoes having the beneficial effect is lycopene a red pigment predominantly found in tomatoes and also in other fruits that gives them their colour.
